Hi there,

A recent article in Environmental Education Research explores the effects of  environment-based education on high school students.  It is a followup to an earlier article in the Journal of Interpretation Research.

One/both will probably be of some interest...and they are a welcome addition to the Lieberman and Hoody study.

For more information:
Athman, J. and Monroe, M.  (2004).  The effects of environment-based education on
students’ achievement motivation.  Journal of Interpretation Research, 9(1), 9-25.

Ernst, J. and Monroe, M.  (2004).  The effects of environment-based education on
students’ critical thinking skills and disposition toward critical thinking.  Environmental Education Research, 10(4), 507-522.

Enjoy!
Janet
