What Is Education For?

Wanted to share this information passed on from Rodney McDonald of Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) highlighting a 1991 essay by Dr. David Orr entitled:

“What Is Education For?

Six myths about the foundations of modern education,

and six new principles to replace them”

Some of you will be aware of this paper but most of us would find it worth reading again periodically. It’s relavancy remains more than a decade later. Please access this essay on line at:
