My recent completed dissertation was an evaluation of particularly successful EE school in Boston. The centerpiece is a relatively short, user-friendly portrait of the school, including a section specifically on the leadership role of the principal in supporting the transformation to being a model environmental school. Hi all,
I'm working with one of our graduate students on a study exploring
factors influencing K-12 administrators' support for EE. Our review of
published literature hasn't turned up much, but we were curious if any
of you knew of studies, evaluations, or reports (published or
unpublished) relating to school administrators' support or lack of
support for EE. I believe last year David Wicks from the JCPS Center
for EE requested examples of statements from school administrators
regarding their support for EE, and perhaps our question dovetails on
his request and responses.
