Science Magazine news brief on U.S. Educational Research (RCT's)

The attached news brief provides a quick overview of the policy context driving educational research methods today. In short, there are those who believe that the medical model of research (in which Randomized Control Trial experiments are the gold standard for figuring out what works) is the best answer, and there are those who think that educational research that describes the implementation and conditions of interventions is more useful for improving student learning.
