Earthwater's (formerly Adopt-A-Watershed) Stages of Implementation
Earthwaters’s program integrates the lessons learned from nineteen years of observing the successes and failure of schools and communities implementing place based education. Earthwater’s “Stages of Implementation” (SOI) framework describes the components needed for sustainable program implementation. The SOI can be used as an assessment tool to quantify the progress a program is making toward sustainability.
