Why use place-based education? (Duffin, PEER, 2006)

This is a summary of several years of evaluation findings from the Place-based Education Evaluation Collaborative (PEEC).

There are multiple versions of this product. The two basic designs are intended for distinct audiences. "Self-study" versions include all the details right on the slide, and are like a picture book version of a report. "Presentation" versions have shorter phrases on the slide, and leave most of the details in the notes section, so that it is more effective when presenting to a live audience. For both designs there are versions with "no animation." This is because not all versions of PowerPoint correctly interpret the animations and transitions.

Note that these files, accessbile from the "attachments" links below, are relatively large files and so make take a while to download.
