Walden’s Ridge Self-Evaluation Portfolio: 1999-2000 School
Having completed the second full year of partnership with the Rural School and Community Trust (formerly Rural Challenge), this Central High School Self-Evaluation Portfolio was created as part of a Rural Trust evaluation tool with Harvard University. An evaluation rubric, developed by the Harvard team, was used to gather documentation and to evaluate the work. The rubric was based on seven principles that deal with student work and community involvement. A team from Central High met with eleven other schools and the Harvard/Rural Trust group in Omaha, Nebraska in March and July.
